What You'll Do:

  • Works collaboratively with statewide directors and program administrators to improve cross functional cooperation, streamlining of work flow, team cohesion, efficiency, and overall integration of programs.
  • Values and builds collaborative relationships with AzCA internal partners and stakeholders on training needs and stays current with specific subject matter to ensure information presented is accurate, practical, useful and relevant to participants.
  • Designs and develops quality training programs for various delivery types (online, blended, in person) to include various topics relevant to the Child Welfare, Behavioral Health and Human Services Industry.
  • Delivers training independently and with co-facilitators to all levels of the organization; including but not limited to professionals, paraprofessionals and/or families on specific subject matter in accordance with program curriculum and procedures.
  • Assures successful development and implementation of training's that are on budget and delivered on time; including ensuring that necessary items for training events are ordered, available, taken to training as well as returned to the office.
  • Plans, designs, implements and markets future training's.
  • Develops and maintains tool-kits for managers and employees on relevant employee development topics.
  • Administers all tests, evaluations, surveys and other program paperwork. Collects relevant data for training evaluation and submits information in a timely manner.
  • Plans, schedules, and facilitates training project meetings and completes various project management and administrative tasks, as needed by the Learning & Development Department. Provides regular status updates to relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts on development of training opportunities and initiatives.
  • Maintains and/or continually grows professional knowledge of child welfare, behavioral health and human services topics and shares best practice information as appropriate.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or organizational development, instructional design, education, or other related field.
  • Specialized training in the field of the subject matter to be presented.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions in a variety of formats to diverse audiences.
  • Or, Equivalent combination of education and experience to be able to perform the essential functions is required.

Additional preferred experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience facilitating training.
  • Experience in curriculum development & developing course revisions.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement).
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the agency's automobile policy.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients' homes and/or other relevant organizations/agencies
  • Must be able to provide DPS fingerprint clearance.
  • Must be able to meet training and agency compliance requirements for the position.
