Program Support Specialist

Position Summary:

AzCA is looking for a passionate individual to join our Parent Education program as a Program Support Specialist! As a Program Support Specialist, you will be responsible for: maintaining electronic databases and records, coordinating with various departments and providing secretarial and administration support for the department, program, and/or site management and other key staff.

Pay range: $17.16 / hour - $22.37 / hour. This position is hourly/non-exempt.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of programs and operations for assigned program services throughout the state.
  • Works closely with other program leadership to ensure all client needs for information, services, scheduling and access to care are met.
  • Monitors quality of services.
  • Develops and monitors problem solving strategies with staff/leadership when needed.
  • Coordinates meetings to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Completes and monitors documentation of clients' records in accordance to agency and funding source requirements, including tracking of authorizations and contract deliverables.
  • Maintains client records and documentation in compliance with agency and funding source requirements.
  • Submits required documentation and information for billing and discharge/program reports to referral source.
  • Assures adequate support functions within program area.
  • Liaisons with program leadership to ensure programs are operating smoothly and efficiently including: ordering supplies, reporting facilities and equipment and technology issues, safety and security matters
  • Conducts data entry in EMR systems and other data bases as designated by program guidelines and procedures

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years' experience in related position, preferred

Minimum Qualification & Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement).
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the agency's automobile policy.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients' homes and/or other relevant organizations/agencies
  • Must be able to provide DPS fingerprint clearance.
  • Must be able to meet training and agency compliance requirements for the position. An individual may qualify for this position if the individual is able to "perform safely" the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
