As a Fostercare and Kinship Specialist, you will have the opportunity to complete assessment home studies and provide courtesy supervision for DCS and out-of-state referred families, as well as license and certify families as needed in and around your assigned counties. You will provide assessment and supportive services to children and families served by the Department of Child Safety. This position is considered PRN, with hours scheduled as needed/on call.

*This position will require travel to support families near and in the counties of Apache, Coconino, and Navajo. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Do you have experience in the Human Services field working with children and families? Would you like to join an amazing team making a difference in your community? We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as an On Call Fostercare and Kinship Specialist! As a Fostercare and Kinship Specialist, you will have the opportunity to license foster families, certify adoptive families and/or complete assessment home studies for DCS referred families. You will also get to work with foster families and foster children. You will have an assigned case load of families to monitor and check in on. Additionally, you would write home assessments including foster care studies and adoption certifications for families.

This position supports families in and around Mohave County.

The Foster/Adoption Placement Coordinator (Statewide Placement Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating the placement of children referred by the Department of Child Safety with licensed foster and/or adoptive families. This position will collaborate with community partners and governmental agencies throughout the state of Arizona.

A candidate bilingual in Spanish/English is needed to meet the needs of our families. An additional $1/hour language differential pay offered.

Position location: This position is primarily Work From Home, but candidate must reside in the state of Arizona. Some occasional in person/office meetings and obligations may arise.

Pay range: $19.00 / hour - $23.25 / hour depending one education and experience.
