Additionally, you would write home assessments including foster care studies and adoption certifications for families.
This position supports families in and around Mohave County.

The Foster/Adoption Placement Coordinator (Statewide Placement Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating the placement of children referred by the Department of Child Safety with licensed foster and/or adoptive families. This position will collaborate with community partners and governmental agencies throughout the state of Arizona.
A candidate bilingual in Spanish/English is needed to meet the needs of our families. An additional $1/hour language differential pay offered.
Position location: This position is primarily Work From Home, but candidate must reside in the state of Arizona. Some occasional in person/office meetings and obligations may arise.

The FES is a member of the Fostering Sustainable Connections program and identifies, engages and prepares potential permanent families and/or supportive permanent connections, for youth in the child welfare system, who are at risk of long term foster care. The position also identifies and nurtures family strength building and other family attributes to enhance the safety and well-being of children. The FES will coordinate efforts to locate and reach out to family members or other supports. Ultimately the goal is to help build a supportive network for the child.
