As a Fostercare and Kinship Specialist, you will have the opportunity to license foster families, certify adoptive families and/or complete assessment home studies for DCS referred families. You will also get to work with foster families and foster children. You will have an assigned case load of families to monitor and check in on. Additionally, you would write home assessments including foster care studies and adoption certifications for families.
In addition to supporting families in and around Mohave County, this person will also have occasional families assigned in La Paz and possibly Yuma County. Mileage reimbursement provided!
Pay range: $19.00 / hour - $23.25 / hour. This position is hourly/non-exempt.
The Supportive Connections Navigator, also called the Family Engagement Specialist (FES), is a member of the Fostering Sustainable Connections program and identifies, engages and prepares potential permanent families and/or supportive permanent connections, for youth in the child welfare system, who are at risk of long term foster care. The position also identifies and nurtures family strength building and other family attributes to enhance the safety and well-being of children. The FES will coordinate efforts to locate and reach out to family members or other supports. Ultimately the goal is to help build a supportive network for the child.
Pay range: $19.00 / hour - $23.25 / hour. This position is hourly/non-exempt.
